Amana builds simple, dependable appliances at a price that makes sense. The brand has been part of Whirlpool Corporation since 2001, which means the refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers under the Amana name come out of one of the largest appliance manufacturers in North America, without the price tag that usually comes with it.
That combination makes Amana a common first choice for a first home, an apartment, or a rental unit you are furnishing on a budget.
Why Amana Works for Landlords and First-Time Buyers
Amana has focused on practical, easy-to-use appliances since 1934. There are fewer features than on a premium lineup, and that is the point. Fewer electronics and simpler controls mean fewer things to break and a cheaper service call when something does. It is a large part of why property managers and landlords keep coming back to the brand.
Shop Amana Fridges, Stoves and Laundry
Amana keeps its lineup deliberately narrow, which makes it easier to shop. Here is what to look at in each category.
Choosing an Amana Fridge
Amana refrigerators are among the most popular options we carry. You will find budget-friendly top-freezer models, where the freezer sits above the fresh food section, and bottom-freezer designs that put everyday groceries at eye level and the freezer in a drawer below.
Most Amana refrigerators are 30 inches wide, but confirm against your own opening before you buy. Measure width, depth and height, and check the delivery path too: doorways, hallway turns and stairwells.
Choosing an Amana Stove
Whether you are replacing an aging range or outfitting a kitchen from scratch, an Amana stove covers the fundamentals well. Both gas and electric models come through, with coil and smooth-top cooking surfaces depending on the unit.
Amana Washers and Dryers
Amana laundry follows the same logic as the rest of the lineup: straightforward machines built for everyday loads, easy to maintain, and priced for households watching the budget. Matched washer and dryer sets come through regularly and tend to move quickly.
FAQ
Have a question about Amana Appliances? Here are quick answers to what shoppers ask most, from choosing the right model to buying online or reserving in store at Econoplus.
Is a refurbished Amana appliance reliable?
Yes. Every unit is inspected, repaired if needed, and tested before it is listed. We check cooling performance, door seals and moving parts, and nothing goes on the floor until it works the way it should. Amana's simpler design also means there is less to go wrong later on.
What is the difference between refurbished and open box?
Open box units are new or as-new. The discount comes from opened packaging, a floor model, or a return, not from a fault. Refurbished units have been used, then restored and tested. Both save you money against buying new; they just get there differently. If you want something that has been fully checked over and confirmed working, refurbished is the safer bet.
Do these appliances come with a warranty?
Yes. Warranty terms vary by product and condition, so check the listing or ask our team. Our staff can walk you through exactly what is covered on any unit you are considering.
Can I buy a matching Amana fridge and stove?
Often, yes. Amana keeps its styling consistent across the lineup, so pairing a fridge with a stove usually works without hunting for an exact model match. It is a popular route for anyone renovating a kitchen or furnishing a rental from scratch. Availability changes, so check the collection for what is in stock right now.
How do I know what size will fit my kitchen?
Measure your existing opening for width, depth and height before you shop. Most Amana fridges and stoves are 30 inches wide, but not all. Check the delivery path as well, since a unit that fits the kitchen still has to get through the front door. Our team can confirm dimensions before you commit.
